The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel first opened its doors in May of 1927. Academy Room

Formerly the office of the Motion Picture Academy, the Academy Room boasts large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Hollywood Boulevard, 16-foot vaulted ceilings and cast-iron chandeliers. With nearly 2400 square feet of space, the Academy Room can host up to 110 guests for a formal dinner and 150 for a reception.

Oscar Room

With large-floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Hollywood Boulevard, the Oscar Room is flooded with natural light. Located on the mezzanine level, the Oscar Room spans over 2500 square feet and can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Toledo Room

The Hollywood Roosevelt offers a variety of smaller spaces to accommodate meetings and events. The Toledo Room is a fully equipped board room, with a parlor available for food, beverage and breaks.

With over 25,000 square feet of flexible space including a rooftop deck, the Tropicana Pool and the famous Blossom Ballroom, the venue for the first Academy Awards, we offer space suitable for events from 10 people to 1500 people.

Whether for a fairy-tale ceremony or a dazzling reception, The Blossom Ballroom provides a glamorous backdrop to create a memorable day. Say "I do" in a setting that has created over 80 years of magical memories. Recently restored to its original grandeur, the iconic Blossom Room earned its fame after hosting the first Academy Awards in 1929.

Historic Lobby

Perfect for a glamorous ceremony, The Hollywood Roosevelt's Historic Lobby provides space for a fairy-tale wedding. The Historic Lobby was conceived in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. With arched doorways, stone columns and exquisitely paneled ceilings, the space can accommodate up to 200 people.

Rooftop

For a magical ceremony for up to 150 people with panoramic views by day or under the stars by night, our Rooftop is an unique venue for weddings. Set right beneath the iconic Roosevelt Hotel sign, the roof space offers spectacular, 360-degree panoramic views of Hollywood and its surrounding areas.

From The Tower, built in 1927 where Gable and Lombard had their tryst, to The Cabanas, vintage 1950s where Marilyn Monroe lived, guests have two distinct accommodation options. The Tower has undergone a 25 million dollar renovation with rooms designed by Yabu Pushelberg. The Tower rooms have larger work desks and are suited for guests traveling on business or with families. The Cabanas are just footsteps from the renowned David Hockney pool and the Tropicana Cafe, which is open until 2am. The Cabanas are suited for guests looking for an entertaining and lively Hollywood experience.

Marilyn Suite

The 750 square foot Marilyn Suite embodies old Hollywood glamour. With a loft-like, open floor plan, the suite features immaculate white furniture, sleek dark hardwood floors, vintage Eames designer pieces and a spacious wrap around balcony, which overlooks the Tropicana Pool & Cafe below. The Marilyn Suite once served as home to Marilyn Monroe, who regularly stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel throughout her prosperous acting and modeling career.

Cabana Suite

Located in our Cabana building, the 750 square foot Cabana Suite offers a king bed with a separate parlor, hardwood flooring and a custom mable mosaic bath with rain shower. It features mid-century furniture and a simple palette of natural oak and charcoal wool, juxtaposed against bronze mirrors and ebony floors. The suite offers either a private balcony overlooking the Tropicana Pool & Cafe or a patio with direct access to the pool. Dramatic lighting coupled with an exposed granite bathroom further add to the sultry and intimate feel of the Cabana Suite.

Providing direct pool access through its private patio, the 350 square foot Cabana Poolside features mid-century furniture and a simple palette of natural oak and charcoal wool, juxtaposed against bronze mirrors and ebony floors.a
