Economy Class seat on intercontinental flights
Discover high standards in Economy Class on intercontinental flights. Cosy up with a pillow and a blanket and feel at ease in an ergonomically designed seat with an adjustable headrest. Both sides of the headrest can bend so you’ll be able to rest your head, even if you’re in a middle or an aisle seat. And if you don’t want to close your eyes, you can enjoy the entertainment screen with movies, music, games and more. We provide a KLM headset, but you can also use your own.

On every flight, there’s a broad selection of Economy Class seats: in the front or the back of the cabin, a middle or an aisle seat or next to a window. Pick the seat that you want during or after your booking.

Economy Comfort seat on European flights
Treat yourself to more comfort on your flight and choose an Economy Comfort seat. Feel the difference that this Economy Class seat with more legroom and extra recline makes. Stretch your legs a bit further and disembark faster. The seats have in-seat power on most aircraft and are ergonomically designed to fit your needs. What’s more, the zone is located in the front of the Economy Class, so upon arrival, you’ll be amongst the first to be on your way. This is especially convenient if you’re travelling with hand luggage only and are in a rush to get to your destination. The service in the Economy Comfort zone is the same as in Economy Class.

Reserve your favourite seat
You can reserve your seat in the Economy Comfort zone when booking your KLM flight. You can also log in to My Trip to make your Economy Comfort reservation. On each flight, there is only a limited number of seats available in the Economy Comfort zone. So if you want to be sure of an Economy Comfort seat or if you’d like to be certain you’ll sit next to your travel companion, don’t wait too long with arranging it.
Flying Blue advantages
If you are a Flying Blue Platinum member, you’ll pay nothing extra for an Economy Comfort seat. Flying Blue Gold members and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers receive a 50% discount. Flying Blue Silver members pay 25% less, and Flying Blue Explorer members receive a discount of 10%.
Economy Comfort seat on intercontinental flights
Finish your work, or take a well-deserved break. With our Economy Comfort seat, you can treat yourself to more comfort. Located right behind Business Class you’ll be amongst the first passengers to disembark the aircraft. Furthermore, these seats have the same service as the regular seats in Economy Class. However, the Economy Comfort seat provides more legroom and more recline than regular Economy Class. On all aircraft (except the 747’s), the seats in this zone also feature a power socket for charging your laptop or smartphone. Economy Comfort is available on all KLM flights.
