Business Class Dining

Savour your choice of a delicious 3-course menu prepared specially by top Dutch chefs. All meals are served on Marcel Wanders crockery and accompanied with a glass of fine wine or other beverage of your choice.

On selected KLM flights*, KLM World Business Class passengers are in for a treat. These are 'Anytime for You' flights, which means they include a genuine restaurant-style dining experience and various extras. Some 'Anytime for You' flights offer an additional 'On Demand' service; an extra menu of 5 dishes to be ordered at any time, after the usual 3-course dinner and lunch options. These delightful treats are also served as in your favourite restaurant.

Cabin attendants are happy to help you with any request. Naturally, you can also take home one of famous Delft Blue miniature houses filled with genuine Dutch gin!

World Business Class Seat

Let your worries float away as you sink into your World Business Class seat. On any of intercontinental flights, adjust it to full-flat at the blink of an eye. Whether you want to catch some sleep or catch up on work, you'll arrive at your destination feeling relaxed and energised.

Always in an aisle in our Boeing 787 - On Boeing 787, every seat in World Business Class is positioned along an aisle. Even if you don't have a window seat, the large windows provide views to the outside. On our Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft, seats are triple paired, so you are always by the window or in an aisle seat. Boeing 747s seats are double paired, both on the lower and the upper deck.

Comfort Bag

Your own comfort bag awaits on board. Dutch designer Jan Taminiau designed the comfort bags exclusively for KLM World Business Class, with both male and female editions. Taminiau designed a total of 6 unique comfort bags in 12 different colours.

Economy Class seat on intercontinental flights

Discover high standards in Economy Class on intercontinental flights. Cosy up with a pillow and a blanket and feel at ease in an ergonomically designed seat with an adjustable headrest. Both sides of the headrest can bend so you’ll be able to rest your head, even if you’re in a middle or an aisle seat. And if you don’t want to close your eyes, you can enjoy the entertainment screen with movies, music, games and more. We provide a KLM headset, but you can also use your own.

Economy Class seat on European flights

On every flight, there’s a broad selection of Economy Class seats: in the front or the back of the cabin, a middle or an aisle seat or next to a window. Economy Comfort seat on European flights

Treat yourself to more comfort on your flight and choose an Economy Comfort seat. Feel the difference that this Economy Class seat with more legroom and extra recline makes. Stretch your legs a bit further and disembark faster. The seats have in-seat power on most aircraft and are ergonomically designed to fit your needs. What’s more, the zone is located in the front of the Economy Class, so upon arrival, you’ll be amongst the first to be on your way. This is especially convenient if you’re travelling with hand luggage only and are in a rush to get to your destination. The service in the Economy Comfort zone is the same as in Economy Class.

Reserve your favourite seat
You can reserve your seat in the Economy Comfort zone when booking your KLM flight. You can also log in to My Trip to make your Economy Comfort reservation. On each flight, there is only a limited number of seats available in the Economy Comfort zone. So if you want to be sure of an Economy Comfort seat or if you’d like to be certain you’ll sit next to your travel companion, don’t wait too long with arranging it.

Flying Blue advantages
If you are a Flying Blue Platinum member, you’ll pay nothing extra for an Economy Comfort seat. Flying Blue Gold members and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers receive a 50% discount. Flying Blue Silver members pay 25% less, and Flying Blue Explorer members receive a discount of 10%.

Economy Comfort seat on intercontinental flights

Finish your work, or take a well-deserved break. With our Economy Comfort seat, you can treat yourself to more comfort. Located right behind Business Class you’ll be amongst the first passengers to disembark the aircraft. Furthermore, these seats have the same service as the regular seats in Economy Class. However, the Economy Comfort seat provides more legroom and more recline than regular Economy Class. On all aircraft (except the 747’s), the seats in this zone also feature a power socket for charging your laptop or smartphone. Economy Comfort is available on all KLM flights.

If you are a Business Class passenger, a Flying Blue Platinum or Gold member, or a SkyTeam Elite Plus passenger, you can enjoy all lounge facilities before your departure or during transfer.

Just make sure you are travelling on that same day on a KLM-operated flight, an international SkyTeam-operated flight or a domestic SkyTeam-operated flight that is connected with a SkyTeam-operated international flight.

Other lounges worldwide

As a Business Class passenger, Flying Blue Platinum and Gold member or as a SkyTeam Elite Plus member you can also access many of partner airline lounges worldwide.
