Introducing the fully enclosed First Class Suite Experience true luxury with your own private hotel room in the sky. Game changing technology includes temperature controls and mood lighting, an industry first with virtual windows, and soft leather seating reminiscent of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The news 777 equipped with glorious first class suites inspired by Mercedes-Benz. Those lucky enough are treated to what Emirates says is the world’s first fully enclosed suite, measuring a spacious 40 square feet. The private rooms feature “zero-gravity” seats, virtual windows, and active noise cancelling E1 headphones from Bowers and Wilkins developed for exclusively for Emirates. The rooms are also fitted with a pair of Safari binoculars, an entertainment system featuring 2,500 channels and wireless remote, a super-wide 32-inch full HD LCD TV, and custom-controlled mood lighting and climate allowing passengers to adjust the cabin’s temperature to 18 to 26 degrees Celsius.

The virtual windows are a feature on the otherwise windowless cabin suites along the middle aisle, and project a high-definition view of the outside using real-time cameras mounted on the plane. The NASA-inspired zero-gravity seat features a “buttery-soft” leather and a lounging position that Emirates says removes any pressure from the elbows, back, and neck in order to achieve maximum comfort.

Only a 25-minute speedboat ride from Male, Dhonveli’s proximity and diversity combine to make it one of the most popular destinations in the Maldives. Cinnamon Dhonveli is located on a private island surrounded by crystal–clear waters, your views are beautiful on this peaceful resort. Chavana Spa offers relaxing massages and the oceanfront bars are great places to enjoy a drink and look out for dolphins. Newly renovated in 2019 Cinnamon Dhonveli offers traditional Maldivian architecture with modern touches, enjoy your very own beach villa or an overwater bungalow or the beautiful overwater suites which offer an exclusive area with an infinity pool and bar for that extra special touch. Facilities include, buffet restaurants (pre–allocated to guests depending on area of hotel they are staying in there are three), Raalhu bar with a mini–library, Sunset terrace bar, The Juice Bar, Chavana Spa and wellness centre, Watersports, Dive centre and swimming pool including children’s pool.

Cinnamon Dhonveli has many rooms spread across each corner of the island – and while you maybe here for some action, you don’t necessarily need to be walking from one end of the island to the other for a quick bite or a cocktail break. The restaurants serving local fare, international cuisine and succulent seafood in every conceivable form. Add to that our juice bar on the beach and 3 cocktail bars spread across the island and you have convenient acess to our F&B outlets no matter where on the island you are. We also take turns serving the cuisine of a particular part of the world on different nights – this means a stay with us takes you on a gastronomical journey too. Koimala Restaurant

Named after one of our late queens, Koimala, our buffet restaurant serves a regal spread indoors and on the beach. The thatched-roof venue serves an international and local spread that pleases a diverse palate. Note: Koimala Restaurant is exclusively available for guests of the Garden Bungalows, Superior Rooms and Beach Bungalows.

Rehendhi

Reserved exclusively for our overwater suite guests, Rehendhi serves a hedonistic spread of international cuisines. To match the fine tastes of the guests, our bar and cellar stocks a select range wines and spirits too.

Raiyvilaa Sunset Terrace Bar

Here’s where you can sit and watch the sunset over the horizon, as it creates a beautiful medley of colours in the sky. Add to it, the sounds of the ocean, a cup of coffee, a hot snack and a candid conversation with your better half – and there, you have the perfect evening

The Raalhu Bar

This is where the most experienced surfers take a break after a great day in the sea. It provides the best views of Pasta Point’s giant left-handed waves and the surfers riding them back to shore. The relaxed vibe and the finger food make it a perfect place for surfers to hang out together.

Maakana Restaurant

This buffet restaurant is named after the grey herons or ‘Maakana’ that glide on the waters around our island. Situated close to the Pasta Point, it serves an action-packed atmosphere with an elaborate international spread of delectable dishes. Note: Maakana Restaurant is exclusively available for guests of the Water Bungalows only.
